What 1 Thing Did I Do To In 2013 To Drastically Improve My Life?

EXERCISE

A few years ago I was stuck in bed for days in extreme pain due to two herniated discs. This happened at least once a year.  I gave up golf. I gave up tennis. I took anti-inflammatoire medication when on vacation. In the last 10 years my back went out on me twice on vacation. I would hobble down to the beach after the pain subsided. It sucked …big time.

In early 2103 I spoke at a conference in Las Vegas. Each night, after the conference day I walked down the strip determined to visit casinos and also attend a couple of Cirque De Soleil shows. Each night the walking was less painful.

When I got home I began walking on my treadmill and running on the elliptical. I do this at least 3 times a week now. I am off all medication. I went on vacation to California without taking anti-inflammatory medication.

I sleep better

I am more alert

I am calmer

I am happier

I enjoy my vacations more

I am maintaining a good weight

Life is much better

I will live longer

A Harvard study that has tracked a group of men for more than 70 years identified it as one of the secrets to a good life.
